Alongside being able to monitor batteries, the AI technology will also be able to reduce the amount of carbon emissions by increasing the battery lifespans by a whopping 50%, which is quite a considerable amount. This will reduce the amount of pressure on having to produce new batteries and lower demand for any carbon-intensive parts of the production process. As a result, this should help to make lithium-ion batteries even more of a greener option compared to currently.

Lithium-ion batteries currently have a wide range of uses, including electric vehicles, inside electronics, and electronic storage systems, among a variety of other things.
