American actress Mila Kunis and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, have raised over $30 million on a dedicated GoFundMe page that the compassionate couple launched together.
The GoFundMe is to help provide ‘immediate support’ for refugees and humanitarian aid efforts, in particular Flexport.org and Airbnb. These two companies are working directly in Ukraine to provide immediate help to those who need it, with Airbnb offering free, short-term housing to those fleeing Ukraine, whilst Flexport is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.
As of writing, total donations have soared past $35,000,000, with a grand total of 72.1k donations. The couple have expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming amount of support, stating they will “do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came from you all as a part of this campaign find maximum impact with those in need.”
The Ukrainian president also shared his gratitude towards the couple on Twitter, noting that the couple ‘inspire the world’.
